Tazz and His Green Flame

Overall Score

Tony Day is the co-owner/reviewer over at Modders-inc.com and I had an opportunity to check out his mad modding skills at nvision 08.  With him was an immaculate rig he called Green Flame.  As you can see from the pictures, the name was quite obviously chosen.

Tony started with an Ultra eXo chasis, added some aluminum 6061, and began hand cutting and polishing his rig.  All of the cutting was done with a dremel and a scroll saw.  The detail in his work is amazing.  I was truly impressed at how smooth and straight he was able to get the cuts.  Thick aluminum is not that easy to cut.  The polished look you see was all done by hand.  The top alone took Tazz six hours to get that shine.

Even the BFG logo you see was hand cut.  The two 9800GX2’s were sanded and painted by Tazz, too.

Accompanying the two graphics card on the Asus P5N-T is an Intel Q6600.  I’d like to thank Tony for letting me check out his killer mod!  You can see more of Tony’s work over at Modders-Inc.com where he goes by Tazz in the forums.
