We have gawked over the case quite a bit in this review, but what also made us do a double take was the claimed top read/write speeds of 1100MB/s of the RAID 0 SSDs. The review system sent to us by Steiger Dynamics came with two 240GB Corsair Neutron Series GTX SSDs in RAID 0. Our personal test system has an OCZ iBiS 240GB SSD that is insanely fast in its own right. Our testing HTPC has an aging Samsung 810 SSD with 256GB of storage.

And we thought the iBiS was a fast SSD. Well, since it is considered one drive, it does exceptionally well. However, your jaw has to drop at read speeds of over 1000MB/s and write speeds nearly matching. What this tells us is that the LEET Core is fast. In our day to day use, we noticed that programs loaded quicker than the iBiS and Samsung 810. Getting stuff done is quicker with these drives. One bit of caution: the more you load on these drives, the bigger the hit to performance. We hope to get some Corsair Neutron GTX SSDs to do an in depth comparison to the iBiS, but it is generally known that SSDs tend to slow down the more you fill them up.

Graphics is pretty much a no brainer here. The GTX 690 is faster than the GTX 680 since it is essentially two of the latter combined. The 3DMark scores we got show just that.

These results were expected. Far Cry 3 will show a similar result, although the GTX 680 in our i7 3930K rig plays the game just fine at max details. Also keep in mind that the HTPC results are at 1920×1080 and the personal PC resolution was 1920×1200.

From a performance standpoint, the LEET Core we reviewed is much better in the graphics department. The RAID 0 Corsair SSDs makes things a bit quicker, but our personal PC CPU is certainly more powerful for heavier threaded applications.

Our conclusion is up next.

I bought the Reference system and stated in the review, this is a great product…probably presently best on the market. What they did not mention is the quality of the service. These guys will meet all your requirements to keep you on board. Don’t doubt it..if you have the money go for it!
