Steiger Dynamics has delivered on all fronts up to this point in our review. Their website is sleek and modern making browsing around fun yet simple. The hardware choices are top notch. Cable management, if you spring for it, is some of the best we have seen. Combine that with a well designed custom water cooling solution, a clear acrylic panel and near silent operation and you have an HTPC that is elegant and luxurious.

But that is not all that matters. Performance is king. We need to put our review system through some simple tests. To give us an idea how this system performs, we will be testing against two other systems. One with an aging chipset, X58, and one with the current Intel chipset king, X79. Full specs are listed below.

Our test systems do not match the speed of the LEET Core machine in pure gigahertz, but we wanted to do a comparison of systems and not a CPU vs CPU or GPU vs GPU comparison. We already know how each processor and graphics card performs. Does the added cost of the case and all components inside the LEET Core make a difference in the intended use of the PC? This was a question we asked at the beginning of the review and one we are going to answer now.

Our test suite for our system reviews is simple and to the point. We will be using ATTO to get a general feel on how the SSDs compare in each system. A quick GPU comparison will be made running Farcry 3 and 3DMark 11. We are not going to include the GT 430 because it is basically useless to put it up against the other two graphics cards. And that will wrap up our test suite.

Our reasoning for such a short comparison review is because we know how fast each component is in our systems. Our goal is to not bore you with more graphs, but to justify the expense of a system like the LEET Core.

I bought the Reference system and stated in the review, this is a great product…probably presently best on the market. What they did not mention is the quality of the service. These guys will meet all your requirements to keep you on board. Don’t doubt it..if you have the money go for it!
