Cherry MX Switches | Different Modes | No software needed

Wish it was more customizable

I will be completely honest with people in this review.  I honestly could not tell you the difference between black switch, blue switches, red switches, brown or white switches.  I never really got into competitive gaming,  I mean who hasn’t really frolicked in Battlefield 3,  or Call of Duty,  Played a game of Starcraft 2, or some others.  I was given the opportunity to test one of the new Coolermaster Quickfire Pro keyboards, which features Cherry MX Brown Switches.  From what I have read the Brown switches is similar to the Cherry MX Blues, but without less audible noise.  The Cherry MX Browns will give you a nice resistance and an audible click before really bottoming out.

So a brief overview of what I’ve figured out so far.

1. Keyboard has backlights behind the keys.  Lighting up the keys you usually play during gaming. (3 modes)

2. Adjustable backlights.  You can adjust the brightness.

3. You can change the response time of the keyboard (8ms, 4ms, 2ms, 1ms)

4. Full keyboard of the MX Brown switches.
