I am sure there will be some people who go against me on here,  but push comes to shove,  Cisco in regards to networking and communications is one of the best companies out there.  They just know what they are doing and they do it very well.  It was sort of a cool thing when Cisco purchased Meraki.  Cisco purchased Meraki for 1.2 Billion dollars.  Meraki had an awesome idea, and it was pretty revolutionary for its time.  Manage all of your devices with a single pane of glass.  I’m a huge fan of their networking switches, and wireless access points.

Meraki just recently released their phone system called the Cisco Meraki MC74,  which in my opinion are very sexy for an office phone.  It’s been awhile since we’ve really seen an update in regards to office telephony.  We’ve all seen huge advancements in our personal cell phones,  but home phones, and office phones haven’t gone anywhere really.  We are still using the same boring phones as we did 10-20 years ago.  So it was exciting for me to see a phone that upgraded a bit of technology.

The Meraki MC74 boasts being able to manage your infrastructure with a single pane of glass, a high resolution display(1280×800 In-Plane Switching screen), contact and phone integration, visual voicemail, network integration, wideband audio, and easy setup and maintaining of devices.  Sounds great!
