This pretty much sums up our review of Applogic’s new Backbone Fabric Controller Interface. We see some very promising leaps forward in this complete line. So far from what we see, The BFC gives you a very nice way to keep your servers in a pool, and allows you to easily add servers from GRID to GRID. Building a cloud in less than a couple of hours is definitely doable with the new Applogic BFC.
Applogic 3.0 is in beta so edges maybe a little rough, but so far. I can see some real promise and hope in this release. Being able to manage 100 servers with this thing would be very a lot easier. From what we see, It can quarantine servers that may be defective in a way. I’m however now sure how automated that process. If it will put in a good server from the pool, and transition the old one out. Maybe in a future release.
I think this is definitely a step in the right direction as cloud hosting becomes more and more common, and needs.
We will be reviewing Applogic 3.0′s interface in a separate review. So please check back later.

Thanks for the detailed step by step review. Did you notice that your article is missing parts of phrases in places, such as on the last page, second-to-last paragraph? The missing parts always seem to be at places where you’re delivering a punchline!
Hey Eric!
This is a beta. I only wrote this to really explain how the BFC functioned, and what we can be looking forward to. Being a beta product I wouldn’t feel really good telling someone that this is a great product. I can only tell them what we see so far. So far is looks as its going to be a great product, but there are things here and there that I think need to get addressed before it becomes a great product. Ideas are good. But being a beta… it’s…. beta..
Thanks,
I’m just wondering what the new features are for V3? Apparently it’s supposed to have a lot more new things, but I haven’t see a list.
So what was ther any improvements on adding new server do you have to recreate a grid each time you want to add new servers
